What home means to me!

Home is a place where I feel free, to express my thoughts and to feel happy! Where I can build memories with family and friends, and to never forget that I love them twice as much. A home is where I lay as the days go one by one. Where I've learned to walk, talk, dance and sing. Not only did I learn to talk and walk, I've learned how to stand on my own two feet and express myself when I really needed to speak. It is a place where I learn to grow strong and to be who I am. Home is where I feel happy! I feel loved! It can be the hugs my dad gives me and the kisses I get from my mom when I go to sleep. Home is laughing at my brother because…cooking dinner with my mom and playing football with my dad. Moving from Ohio to Canada was exciting but also nerve racking. I didn't really know what to feel. I just admittedly felt like Canada was my second home the very first time I saw the waterfalls my eyes turned right into hearts. It's like I saw a dinosaur right before my eyes. It was so different not seeing my old friends back in Ohio. It was hard but all the kids were just like me, always moving and being silly. I immediately felt like I belonged. I've now noticed I have come a very long way from making Canada my new home. A home is something you need to cherish every second, hour, minute because one day you will look back on all the bad, good, silly things you have done. A Home isn't about what's on the outside, it's about what is on the inside!
