♡ What Home Means To Me ♡

A home is more than wood, mortar and bricks. A home is the beautiful paint that you put on the walls, Or the colourful rugs that you put on the floor. Home is the animals that bring in happy snuggles, And muddy paw prints. If a house is an essay, Then home is the vibrant illustrations that make it a story. It is where you can make big messes and have fun. Where cultures live undisturbed, And families live, laugh and love together. A quilt stitched together with memories happy and sad, Good and bad, but always loved. If life is a moonlit path, and your home is one of the pretty lanterns, That make your day and illuminate your night. If a house is four walls and a roof, Then home is the cozy little reading nook, Or the delicious steamy soup on the kitchen stove. A place that hearts soar and sink, Glow and blink, But never fade away. Thank you, Habitat For Humanity, for giving all of these families a home.
