Home is Where the Heart Is
A home can come in many ways,
Apartments, mansions, I could go on for days,
Little or tall, big or small,
Size does not matter, at all,
Home is where the heart is.
Your house could be infested with rats,
In your cupboard there could be vampire bats,
But what matters the very most,
More than rats, or a spooky ghost
Home is where the heart is.
A place you can be completely true,
To your hobbies, passions, and most importantly, you,
Where you feel at ease, safe and happy,
Where you’re surrounded by your friends and family,
Home is where the heart is.
A home is a privilege not everyone gets,
Not everyone gets a family and pets,
So I thank Habitats for Humanity,
For giving me this opportunity,
Home is where the heart is.
