What Home Means to Me
What is the meaning of home for me? It's the smell of hot chocolate on a cold winter day, and the sound of my dog’s nails clicking on the wood floor as he happily jumps and hits everything with his wrecking ball-like tail. Hearing the sound of the TV while I walk upstairs and sit down to watch TV with my family. Feeling the warmth of a cup of hot chocolate in my hands while drinking it and having it tasting like a warm hug.
But home is so much more than that. It would take me an hour to talk about how home feels. And it doesn't need to have floors, walls and a roof. Home doesn't have to even be a place you live; it could be a park or somewhere else. But home is something you can carry with you. Home can be your family. Whatever home is, it should hold a special place in your heart.
