Home to Me

Home is a place where you go. A place where you are welcome. A place where your family is. Maybe even your friends are your family. A place where you feel safe. Family helps remind me of home. What also helps remind me of home are nature sounds, because where I used to live was surrounded by trees. It was basically a forest to a small child. That place you call home may be far away but it can still be home. That means it could be halfway across the world, but it’s home.
