What's Home

Home to me is a happy place and calm safe spot. At home is like listening to my sister play guitar and singing while smelling mom's homemade famous soup. After supper me and my family watch Marvel while I cuddle with my dog. At night I fall asleep to the sound of my fish tank. Peace. My brother and sister, mom and dad are all in a house altogether. Sometimes we fight, sometimes we play but we're altogether here to stay. It's frightening sometimes when you hear your family fight. I feel safer with my family when I'm cozied up in a blanket by the fireplace reading my book. Me and my dog play while my dad tries to cook. On Christmas Eve me and my family's anxious to eat because there's a delicious ham across the room. We go to Aunt's for Christmas Eve. We play cards and board games and we talk around the table. Love is hanging out with family like hanging out stockings while listening to Christmas music. Home is a place where I feel safe, happy, calm, and it's amazing having time with family.
