Home is Happiness

At home, I smell the delicious Filipino food cooking. I smile just hearing the adobo sizzling in the pan. At home, I hear happy sounds that bring me joy. I feel the laughter of my brother and sister while we snuggle on the couch. At home I see the very beautiful photos on our big walls. I see myself and my caring, loving, kind family always there. At home, I feel my cuddly, fluffy, and adorable dogs. I also feel my warm blanket while I’m in my cozy bed. It helps me have happy dreams. At home, I taste the Ramen my mom makes for me. I also taste the warm hot chocolate with the squishy marshmallows on a cold day. I am happy that I have a roof over my head to protect me from rain and harsh weather. I am grateful that I have a home where I feel loved and safe. I thank Habitat for Humanity for helping people in need. Everyone Deserves a home.
