What home is for me

Home is more than just four walls and a roof or a place where you sleep. A Home is where you can be yourself, it is not perfect, and it is filled with lots of memories. Home is a place where you can be yourself around other people who would never judge you no matter what you do, because outside of your home you fear judgment or rejection. But in your home, you have people you love and who would never hurt you. Home is never perfect because no one is perfect and there are lots of people trying to better themselves and improve their lives, but none of them are perfect. It is important for us to remember that, because sometimes, from the outside looking in, it is easy to think otherwise, and there are too many versions of awesome to narrow them down to a single perfect. Your home has lots of memories of people you love and care for. Home appeals to all five of our senses, which then contributes to helping us make memories. A home may have a certain, pleasant odor to it, one you will always remember and keep with you forever. Home mostly feels like a place where you can be yourself around people you love and where you can feel safe and protected. Everybody knows that home is not perfect, but a place filled with memories and a warm and cozy space to stay in for shelter and a place where you can feel like you belong.
