What Home Means to Me

What home means to me is having a safe place to live and sleep in. Home also means to me having a right to live in a house with comfortability. A place to build memories, build a trusting relationship with people, and be yourself with your family and friends. Currently, some people cannot afford to live in a house of their own or cannot pay bills. A fact is that because of the pandemic, most people losted their jobs and became homeless. Most people that are homeless have an alcohol or drug addiction, and they cannot pay for health care. Something that can help the homeless is donating money, clothes, food, and your time to help. Sometime my family donates our old clothes to churches. At the Meaning of home, people put in their time and effort to builds habitat homes for their community. Each habitat home benefits their local community worth by 175,000. Other ways that can help homeless people are donating to the Salvation army, Raising the roof, Covenant house, and more.
