What Home Means To Me

A home is not a place but a feeling, a strong feeling of bond. With family, we have memories filled with happiness and those that are slightly sad. But those memories fill you up that’s what home means to me! Your parents, siblings, and pets when you’re all together that's what home is to me! The memories are one huge part of home, the smile you can't hold in when your family sings you a happy birthday song or maybe when you wake up to find your mom making your favorite pancakes, the drizzling syrup and that soothing taste of pancakes in the shine of the morning of Saturday. The times when your father helps you out with either some advice or some motivational speech. Home isn't a house or place, it’s the memories and people around you, who comfort you when you’re down and show up on your special day. When something embarrassing happens with your family and everyone starts laughing those are some of the golden moments with your family or maybe when you have a game board or movie night together those are also memories you should cherish. Home is the heart that’s what home is, and in the heart there are memories.
