What Does Home Mean To Me

To me home is my whole world. It’s not a perfect place, but it's the place that has the people I love the most. Home is a place where I hear my mom telling me to go do the dishes. Home is where I smell my mom making my culture Food (which is jollof rice) for dinner, and when it’s time to eat I said “Daalụ” (it means thank u in igbo) I’m grateful, because sometimes when I come back from school, I am sad but there is alway someone who says, “it's ok don’t listen to those who want to put you down”. Home is a place I can be myself and no one will judge me, home is a place I get compliments and it makes me have joy in my heart. Home is a place where I can do things to make my family happy, like family meetings. Home is also my place to learn new things, like when my mom tells me to “get a book to read” and after she gives me more math work. home Is when I give my siblings a hug because I want to. Home is a place where I help my siblings solve a fight. My home is not a place with fancy cars, but it's a place to care and love each other, so I'm thankful for what we have. Home is a place to make new memories everyday.
