Home, Core of the Heart

Home is a place that has always held a special significance for me. It is a place that is filled with love, happiness, and cherished memories. Home is where my family supports me through every step of my journey, and where I find comfort and solace at the end of each day. To me, home is not just a physical space but a feeling that fills my heart with warmth and joy. It is a place where I celebrate my culture and traditions, such as the festivals of Diwali and Holi, with my loved ones. Home reminds me of when me and my family went to Texas to see our cousins for a few weeks. We went to a lot of beaches and water parks since it was summertime and it could get really hot in Texas, sometimes it can get up to 113 degrees! Anyway, we had a great time. I wish that I could go again sometime. These moments of togetherness and bonding are priceless and make my home even more special. I am grateful to the indigenous people who cared for the land where we build our homes today. Their stewardship has allowed us to create safe and secure dwellings for ourselves and our families. However, I am aware that there are still many people who are homeless and do not have a safe place to call home. I want to support Habitat for Humanity in its efforts to provide homes for those in need. In conclusion, home is a place that is not just a physical structure, but a feeling of love, comfort, and security. It is a place where memories are made and cherished for a lifetime.
