Meaning of Home

What Home Means to Me!!! Home is a place where you can come home to a loving family around you! You can come home to a shelter over you, and a family beside you. You can just feel yourself getting squeezed by your parents hugging you when you arrive home from school. You can just smile ear to ear and know you are loved. As soon as you come home, you can just smell the deliciousness of the chicken cooking in the oven in the kitchen. Your parents are in the dining room preparing for your family's dinner coming up that night. You're getting it nice and tidy for your guests. I can just feel the love going from family member to family member. I can see the beautiful WELCOME mat just glistening under the sunlight on the front porch. You can feel the safeness above you protecting you from the rain and snow. You can feel the heaven in your living room from your loved ones that have passed. The knock on your door and you yell, “ONE OF OUR GUESTS ARE HERE”!!! Later into the night the rest of your guests are here, and you are in your living room chatting. You walk to the kitchen and see the chicken getting sliced into beautiful thin slices. The smell of the chicken is like celebrating your favorite player scoring a touchdown to win the game. You sprint to the kitchen and snag a plate. I go to the dining table and eat it all up. You forcefully need to say goodbye to your guests. You jump in bed and slowly fade off to sleep.
