My Home

My Home My home is large and has my brother and my two sisters. It's a safe place to be where we can sleep, eat, and play. In my house I see lots of happiness and joy. I also see people playing video and board games. My brother practices hockey and helps me with playing better because he is older and has been playing longer than me. My Mom cooks so many things like bannock and loco moco which is an indigenous and Hawaiian food. We also smell really good scent that smells like strawberry banana. I taste my Mom’s homemade sugar cookies. They taste like peach and mint. I also love her homemade thin pizza dough. I touch my blanket that keeps me warm and the cold wall that has insulation inside. I hear my family say “Thank you.”[welcome] I am so thankful that my parents can put a roof over my head. I am also thankful for clean water and food. It doesn't matter if I win or lose, as long as I have a family and clean water and food. By Sloan
