HOME POEM

Home is where joy fills the air Home is where everyone is treated with care In the roof of home stays the memories of laughter On christmas day we pull all the crackers Home is a smell of what food my mom cooks On the shelf in my closet is home filled with books May the days have come and go But everyday home is where comes the glow If an earthquake comes I hide under my table My home fights off with being very stable With words of my family, fighting my fears All these days and all these years For all I know home is great With all the delicious food on my plate My family sits on the table for a feast I start eating my food, being pleased When I watch tv on the couch My home doesn’t let me have a single grouch Everytime I come home from school my headache comes up But it all goes away when I go in the tub If I don't know what to wear, I grow in frustration But I have my home to increase the duration At school I have just enough worries But they go away when i think about my special buddies
