What Home Means To Me

For me, home isn’t exactly who or what is in my house. It’s something that will love me no matter what. Hard times, good times, anytime, they’re there for me. One piece of home for me is when I’m at church praising God. I can tell Him anything and He will listen, be loving, and forgive me. Talking and praying anywhere I go with God makes me feel special, like if I could give Him the biggest hug in the world I would. I find it so fascinating when I read the Bible, my God’s words. I like to look at my surroundings sometimes and say to myself, “Wow, God made that.” I also feel at home when I’m hanging out with my friends. It’s so hard to wait until I see them to tell them what I want to say to them. My friends don’t have to be my age, some of my friends are the same age as me, some are younger, and some are older. I am never left out when it comes to feeling at home. I always choose to let everyone join and that makes me feel at home. I feel thankful for knowing a lot of people that if someone doesn’t let me hang out with them I have plenty of other people. Family is also a big part of my home. My Mom, Dad, and 3 older brothers are so special to me. I don’t know what I’d do without them. They always do things with me. For example we play NHL '24 together and make our own teams and play mini sticks together. I love my home. My home is, my hockey friends, church friends, school friends, the Trinity, Mom, Dad, Noah, Linkin, and Emerson. This is what home means to me.
