The Meaning of Home

Home has love and laughter, likes and dislikes, family and friends. Home is where we settle down, let our worries slip away. Home is where we feel safe, warm and cozy. Home is where we make the best memories and where our love is strong. Home is where my brother and I make noise and play, make sibling rivalry, which is resolved in love and laughter. Home is where we help each other in the ups and downs of life. We help each other see something without our eyes. Home is where we get together to celebrate Christmas, as the sound of laughter and joy fills the air. And as we look at our beautiful Christmas tree, we thank God for everything we have. Home is where the time spent together slips away too fast. Home is where we make love. Home is where we are taught right from wrong. Home is where we are told to fulfil our dreams, no matter what others say. Home is where we thrive and grow. Home is where we learn to love. But home isn't a building. It's wherever your loved ones are. In other words, it’s where ever the heart is. So, here's to home, a magical place we thrive, grow, make memories and learn to love. May everyone find one.
