What Home Means To Me

What does home mean to me? Home is a place where I am safe, loved and free. My family is there, when I come home from school, waiting for me. How does home make me feel? Being safe makes me feel calm and appreciated, Solving the problems that I have to deal. My home is within me, I know that for sure, and with that goes away the bad feelings that occur, when I don't feel welcome or cared. Instead, I feel happy, not scared. Just feeling protected inside, lets me know that my home is mine, nothing can take it, not even the tide! I know that my home will forever be in my heart, through the night and when times are hard. I hope that the Habitat for Humanity helps make homes that are new, so other kids just like me, can have a home too!
