The difference of House and Home, Home is where you aren’t alone Where the memories swim all around and the kids jump up and down When mom or dad make a home cooked meal You start to know that this hunger is real Home is easy where you can be you Home takes away your problems. “Phew” But moving to a new house is sometimes awful It has a different smell no hint of waffles But it takes time to call this new house home You have to make memories of your own A House is just a building with walls and a ceiling The emptiness gives you an anxious feeling You have no memories, you have to start fresh But your family brings down all the stress Before you know it the new house is a home A place full of love where you are never alone
