What Home Means to Me

Home is a shelter that words cannot express, It is not a place that is built to impress, Home is where our memories are made, It’s a place where you don’t need to be afraid, Home is where love and laughter thrive, Where we’re given a hug and a high five, Home isn't always a place, but a warm feeling, Of a sense of being cherished and belonging, Home is not just made of walls and stone, It’s a reminder that you are not alone, Home is where you feel the most at ease, After all, home cooking is the best to eat! Home is where we celebrate, Birthdays and holidays, filled with joy and cake, Home is where friends and family are, Who guide and help us, just like the stars, Home is where you feel your heart is, Where you act with warmth and kindness. Home is where the most love from and for people come, Where you feel safe and cared for when you’re glum, Home is a cozy place where memories bloom, Where there is laughter and love in every room. Home is our foundation for everything we do, It holds our past, our future, other places like this are few Please, treasure your home and how much it has done, Together, the mission to build homes has just begun, So others can have a source of comfort and love, Help Habitat For Humanity so they have a home to speak of
