Home

The reason home is so important to me is it feels safe in my home and I feel loved in my family. It is nice that I have shelter and a warm place to sleep but those are things a house has and that is different than a home. There is a reason “Home Sweet Home” is such a well known saying. It's because most people really enjoy their home, because if you didn’t then it wouldn’t be your home, it would be your house. I think everybody, no matter who you are or what you have done, deserves a home, that's why I think it is so great that Habitat for Humanity is doing this. When I am at home, I feel comforted by my family because they are kind to me and we all like each other even when we fight. Family is often part of a home but not always; if you live alone then you could still consider your house your home. That is what I think home is about.
