What Home Means to Me

Home is a place where I feel safe and sound. Home is where my family is. Home is where I sleep, eat and play. Home is where I connect with my family. Home means more than a roof and four walls. To me it is where memories and laughter are. I am so thankful that I have a place that is warm and that I can be myself. I love my house so much, especially when I wake up in the morning and my whole family is there. They are waiting for me and making my favorite breakfast: French toast! I know that is a small act of kindness but to me that is huge to me. That makes me know how much they care about me. Home is where I love to spend my holidays. There is no other place I would rather be at than home. I love to wake up and see all the decorations and rush downstairs to find my elf before my brother and open my advent calendar. Home is so much in this world. There is something about each home that makes it special. What makes my home special is the love and the people. We all deeply care about each other.
