The Meaning of Home

What does home mean to me? Home is the place where I sleep every night. I always feel safe in my bed. and am always grateful to have a home and be surrounded with people who care about me. Home is my family and my safe place. At home I feel safe, happy, and loved. I also do a lot of things when I am at home. I play basketball a lot, Video games, and other things if I did not have these things, I would be bored. Home also means family to me, and they lift me up if I am sad. My mom makes dinner for the family and my dad does sometimes. and if they didn’t make food, I would always be hungry. Also, they give me a safe place to stay and be treated with kindness and love. I watch a lot of Tv and basketball. My favorite team is the Milwaukee Bucks and I love to watch them. If I didn’t play or watch Basketball my life would be a lot different. If I didn’t have a home, it would be really hard. You wouldn’t have a safe place to stay, and you wouldn’t feel safe or loved or even be treated fairly and without respect. You would feel sad because everyone was walking past you and trying not to see you. You would always be hungry and thirsty because you don’t have very much money to buy food and water. I love my home and I wouldn’t know what to do without it.
