All Seasons of Home

Home is a place where people can live together and bond with each other. Home is warm and cozy even in the cold and rough season of winter. Home is where I rush to after school in winter to escape the cold. Home is my favourite place to be in snowy weather, because the taste of brown hot chocolate leaves a sweet taste in my mouth. I also like watching innocent white flecks of snow falling from the sky. I always go out every frigid winter morning to go to school and learn, but at 4 pm, I’m always there with my family. Home is a place where I can warm up when the leaves start turning orange. Home is where I see the beautiful neighbourhood below me in autumn. In fall, I go to parks to enjoy the sun shining through the leaves and the chilliness all season. On a perfect autumn day, I would go out onto my balcony and read. Home is where I am. Home is a place where I can cool off on the long days of summer. Summer, the season without school, is the season I eat ice cream at home and go to bed late. I have lots of parties to celebrate anything I randomly think of, at my friend’s home or mine. Home means a lot to me. Home is full of growing plants when snow starts to thaw. Home is where I can look out the window, and see the flowers growing below me. In spring, I am rarely home, and when I am, I celebrate the end of the school year with joy. In all the seasons, I enjoy my home no matter what, because home is the place I’m meant to be.
