WHY I CALL CANADA HOME

Introduction I call Canada home because it’s such a good, accepting country. Canada is an accepting, caring and good country. Each day I spend in Canada is better than the next. I love living in Canada. My Life in Canada My life in Canada has always been blessed. I have always had food on the table, an amazing school, reasonable money and lots of toys. My parents always have had enough money to support me and my sister. My mom has always supported me through all my challenges. I love having this kind of support. I also am able to play ringette, one of the best sports ever. Why this country is home to me I call this country home because of these main reasons. The Education system The education system in Calgary is truly a gift for me. My parents would have never gotten this kind of education in the time when they went to school. My sister and I are truly blessed to have these kinds of opportunities. My family’s history and life here. For half of my family, Canada sort of happened to us. That's because on my mom’s side, I’m Indigenous. On my dad’s side, I’m white. (British and Norwegian.) I feel so blessed to be who I am. ❤ My loyalty to Canada I will always live in Canada because it’s amazing. I will always respect the flag, everyone who worked for our country, and I want to carry on the legacy that was started long ago. I wish for peace and equality, because even though Canada is amazing, there is still work to be done. My hopes for the future One of the hopes I have for the Canadian future is more equality to all. Chinese, African, Asian, Indigenous, and more. Even though Canada is a very welcoming country, there is still more we can do. Respect all, be kind to all. Everyone is important.
