Meaning of Home

When the word “Home” comes to mind, I don’t think about the brick house that I grew up in. I think about the people I grew up with. I think about the neighborhood that I ‘ve lived in my whole life and the neighbors I've always lived close to. Home doesn't always have to be one area either. The houses of my cousins and close friends are home to me as well. My room. My room is one of my favorite places in my house. If I’m not outside I’m most likely in my room. I do almost everything in my room. I’ve made so many memories there as well. My room is the place I play games on my laptop while calling my best friends and making memories with them. I feel safe everytime I’m in my room and when I’m sleeping on my relaxing, comfy bed. I know that everybody deserves the ability to have a home. A home is a place made up of love and memories. I couldn’t imagine what people without a home would be going through.
