What is Home

Home is the best place that anyone can be. I love home because it is my favorite place to spend time. At home you feel showers of love, happiness, and safety. These are some reasons for what home is to me. To me, home is the place where you find the comfy beds that you sleep on, the soft pillows where you rest your head, and the warm and cozy blankets that you get wrapped up in. It is also where you smell delicious food with your mouth watering, and devour it after every bite that you eat. You can hear the sounds of the toy’s that you enjoy and love playing with all over the hall. The comfortable couches that you rest your bum on, and the big dining table where you enjoy your food. Home is my house. Home is also the sound of laughter throughout the house, and the sound of chatter spreading through. Home is the jokes that you tell to one another, and the fun you have sharing them. It is the cards shuffling when playing a game of uno, and sharing things with everyone. Home is Family. Home is the rustle of maple leaves flying past me on a windy day, and the delicious maple syrup that I love to eat with pancakes. Home is the wonderful city of Edmonton where I was born. I also love the cold city of Calgary where I currently am. The house that I live in is big where everybody that I love lives. I always enjoy the places that I visit with my family In the country that I live in. Home is Canada. Everyone should have a home just like me, where you feel loved, safe, and happy. I love my awesome family because without them, I wouldn’t live in Canada, or have an amazing house. I am very thankful for what I have. Home is the place where I feel like I belong, and live.
