What makes Calgary a great home? I will be explaining why and what makes Calgary a great place to live in this essay. I hope you agree! Firstly, it is filled to the brim with loads of nice people! Everyone here is willing to help you with virtually anything! I had moved to the USA for a year when I was in grade 2, and no one was quite as nice. Secondly, the economy is positive. This means that houses, cars, and other living expenses in general are less expensive than other places. The following is stated on the official website of the City of Calgary: “Calgary is poised for a second and third successive year of positive economic growth in 2022 and 2023. There should be better economic performance in Calgary and other Alberta communities in 2022 and 2023 compared with most of Canada.” Thirdly, just how cold it is makes it feel like home! To me, home is sipping on hot chocolate and laughing with my family while it is snowing outside! This can happen far more often than most places because of just how cold it gets in the winters! In conclusion, Calgary is the perfect home for me because of all these things. I don't have to worry about the prices of living as much, if I need help urgently and no guardian is present, I can simply go to my neighbors and this makes me feel safe. What kind of home doesn’t make you feel safe? And lastly, nothing is better than the warm feeling of family bonding over some sweet treats and lamenting over the fact that we’re essentially locked in due to the severe cold! Nothing like family!
