Why Canada is home to me

Canada is home to me because I was born here. I feel that when you are born in a country, that just automatically becomes your home, the place you belong to! Wherever you feel happy, safe, comfortable or even relaxed, you know you can call that place home. These 3 reasons will tell you why Canada makes me feel at home. When you think of home, what do you think? When I think of home, I think of a place where I can be happy and turn the times into wonderful memories. I have countless memories in Canada that include my family, friends, special places and activities I have done. One special place for me is Vancouver because I have spent a lot of time with my family doing fun things there. Home is a place where you can have lively conversations and spend time with your family or friends, not worrying about anything. You can be in a place where you are grateful for what you have such as food, clean water, good jobs and safe neighborhoods. Not everyone has that. Canada is a safe, peaceful and protected country, unfortunately unlike many other countries in the world. A home is not a building that you live in. A home is a place where you can feel safe and loved. A house is just a building with walls, floors and windows. A home is where your family and loved ones are. My family lives in Canada, so that is why my home is in Canada. My home is a special place for me and if I had the choice, I wouldn't trade it for anything.
