Canada is our proud home

Canada is a country with lots to offer, so there is something for everyone to appreciate. Canada has a variety of beautiful landscapes filled with peaceful forests, to gorgeous mountains. There are pleasing sunsets, relaxing breezes and comforting sunny skies to enjoy. After a long day, it helps to refocus and calm down. It's a country of natural wonders to visit and enjoy. As with our diverse landscapes, there are many interesting foods in Canada. Poutine, for instance, which is made from cheese curds, french fries and other sauces to create this fulfilling dish, is very enjoyable. Another iconic food to Canada is our maple syrup. Made from the sap of maple trees, the leaf of the tree is even on our flag! Canada is quite special and unique when it comes to our meals. Canada has many different beliefs, festivals and holidays. Probably the most common religions have to be catholic and cristian. They celebrate many holidays including Good Friday, which takes place on the Friday before Easter Sunday, Lent, which is forty days before Easter Sunday, and Epiphany on the sixth of January. There are many unique cultures across Canada. Canada is our proud home. We are all glad to live here, and we enjoy this country.
