Meaning of Home

Home is warmth, family and memories. Home is where I feel safe. Home is warmth. Warmth is when we go camping and cuddle up by the fire and roast marshmallows. Warmth is the feeling I feel when we go on an amazing trip. When we just sit down and relax together. When we go in the hot tub and roll in the snow. I feel so cozy when we just eat popcorn and watch a movie cuddled under a blanket. I also feel warm when I’m with my friends and we’re playing around. Warmth is when I feel loved and happy. When I think of home, I think of family. My family friends make me feel at home, as well. When I’m with my family I feel happy and loved. Even if it’s just me and my mom I still feel family and home. It’s the same with my dad. When me and my brother are playing together and having fun I feel so happy. My mom, brother and dad are loving, kind, fun, trustworthy and make me so happy. It wouldn’t be home without my family. Memories are one of the most important parts of home. Home is memories. Home is remembering all the fun trips we’ve gone on together. It could be big trips that we’ve gone on like going to Spain, Portugal, Kingdom Trails, Jay Peak, Georgian Bay or Mont Tremblant or just little memories like going to the mall or for a bike ride. No memories with family, no home. Memories are a part of my family. I hope that one day everyone can feel what I feel in my home. Habitat for Humanity is saving so many people. I want everyone to be happy and loved in a home of their very own.
