Homes make me feel

Home’s aren't just furniture and walls. Home’s mean to me a safe place to express my feelings through colouring. As well, it makes me feel welcome. It’s a place where I can spend time with my family. Home is a place where I feel loved. I colour what happens in my day this helps me break the day down. I read to calm myself down. I read fictional books. I also have special things in my home too. The special things in my home are weighted blanket, my special stuffy and my special shirt that I sleep with. When I am sad I can be alone in my room. I use music to calm me down if I am mad or sad. Home is a safe place where I can feel my feelings. In my home I have two big brothers, one big sister, my Dad and my Step Mom. My two cats are also a part of my family. With my siblings we do crafts together which makes me happy. We love playing with our cats in their cat tree. With my Dad and Step Mom we smell up our house with delicious baked goods. With all these reasons this is why I believe a house is not a home. You need a lot of feelings within your house to make it a home. This is my home and I love it.
