The Meaning Of Home

To you a home might just mean the place people live, but to me a home is much more. A home is a place to go to feel welcomed and safe. When you feel welcomed and safe, it's one of the most amazing feelings. Home is a place that you can go for comfort. Home is a place where you and your family can always find each other in times of need. Home does not have to be a building, it can be almost anything. I feel most at home when I am with my family. My cats also make me feel at home, pets are the ones you can go to when everyone else is perhaps mad at you. Your pet will know when you are sad. Your home is the best place to be in almost any situation. A home also has memories like photos reminding you of special events. Home keeps me clean, full of joy, and happy as well. So for you a home might only mean the place you live but to me it means more. Home should be a place of joy not sorrow, home should be one of your favorite places to be. Home is the first place to think of when I am looking for the people who love me most. In other words the people who love you most ARE home. The people I look at as home are my parents and my sister. They bring me joy and happiness. We love to watch my favorite show together. Together we play games and when we play we laugh and have lots of fun. Now you can see that a house is not a home. Home is the memories, family and pets. A home is just a house without these things.
