A Home To Me

A home to me is a place where I feel like I'm welcome and comfortable. I also like when I’m with my family, like at dinner time. My family and I say what we're thankful for and I always say I'm thankful for that I have a roof over my head and for this meal. I live in the country and I like it because I have a lot of property and I don’t have to worry about really anything. It is a lot of work because I have to feed the livestock such as cows, donkeys, chickens, dogs, and cats. But I think it’s pretty fun. When I’m at home I feel like I’m protected. My dogs, my parents, and my family all make me feel safe. At school I feel protected because I am with my friends and people I know. It makes me feel like I am at another home. I have my best friend Kayden. We are in the same class and we go to each other's houses all the time and it makes me feel peaceful. I like my home because it has lots of memories and stories. My house is made out of wood and it’s funny because my neighbors used to own it. I also remember when my uncle used to come and visit us but he passed away because he had bone cancer. I know that he is watching over me and God is with me too. God bless this home and the people that are in it.
