What Home Is to Me...

A house has four walls but a home is a place where memories are made and life long friendships are formed. To me home is a safe place. Home is a warm and cozy place of joy and happiness. For me home is watching movies on the couch, or making cookies on new years eve with my mom and my sister. For me home is the memories of learning how to ride my bike in the basement with my family. To me home is a secure place where you can talk about anything. Home is where you can have food and water and shelter. Home is a place where love is everywhere. To me home is sitting on the couch with my whole family watching the brand new Avatar movie. Home is going for a bike ride with my mom at the Trent trails. Home to me is going downstairs with my mom and making crafts. Home to me is also friends not just family because friends are also family. Home is when I go over to my friends' house to have a big barbecue and play in the pool and sing karaoke. Home to me is when I get back from school and I go to call my super energetic cousin to play video games. I understand that I get to have all those things like happiness and joy and a loving family but I also understand that not everyone has the same situation as me and I love that Habitat for Humanity is helping and I want to help too.
