What Is ‘Home’?

Home is the cozy and warm feeling of when I’m with my family. Home when my family and I create memories to treasure for the rest of our lives. Memories such as family movie nights where we can never agree on a movie we all like so we watch what my mom likes, baking tasty, vanilla icing cupcakes with my mom as we giggle and laugh, and sharing jokes and riddles with my dad as he always cracks 5 dad jokes. My family and I have moved many times but the feeling never changed. Your home isn’t the TV or the couch, it’s the people who you share it with. Home is the place that my family and I are together. Home is where we have delicious food to eat, like soft bread with spicy vegetables, and a cozy bed to sleep on. Home is where my family and I can build a jolly snowman in the winter, where we invite family-friends over to our home in the spring, where we take a relaxing, calm walk in the summer, and play in the golden, crunchy leaves of autumn. Everyone deserves a home to make memories with their family and loved ones in, that’s why we have Habitat For Humanity.
