UNIT 1944 FRANCE NORMANDY DECEMBER 5th, 1944 HILL 141 It's dead winter, soldiers are hoping to come back by christmas, It's cold out the war is almost over and the allies are taking Europe back. Houses and shops crumbling on each other. Soldiers are desperate to go home to their wife and kids, those brave men walk with the fact that some won't make it. Just new battles everyday. Just taking the beach killed 10,000 sadly, and will remain the bloodiest of all. One day soon, near or far the world will recover from the chaos, but not harness ‘Peace’, it cannot really be restored. Somewhere in the world there will always be chaos. As the battles go, the axis is falling, the people are rioting and protesting all around the world. Just like peace cannot be restored. Somewhere there is peace and war. Wars are bound to happen every Century, but just 20 years and another war. Nobody asked for a sequel of another war from the ‘First world war’ known as the great war. Home is really where peace is found,the safety of home is different, nothing is wrong, and when it is, it's always safe, it is restorable. Home is a peaceful place. War is the reason we need to fight for freedom, for equality, for our rights. And most of all to protect our home.
