By My Home

By my home, delicate snowdrops fall on the black shingles of my roof, Winter. By my home, big piles of colourful leaves are inviting me to jump into them, Fall. By my home, little seeds bloom into big, bright and vibrant flowers in my garden, Spring. By my home, the smell of a grilling barbecue fills the warm summer breeze, Summer. I hope someone can find a home as amazing as mine with wonders all around inside and out. I am thankful for organizations like Habitat for Humanity for helping people in need of homes with a friendly community. I am thankful for my home and the community around it and my family in it. I hope my little, short poem helps people in need of a home, and I'm grateful to be a part of this contest to hopefully help someone today.
