Home is not a House

A home is not bricks, glass or wood; a home is that feeling of comfort and happiness that your family brings. A house is an inanimate object but a home means so much more than that; home is that sense of security that you get with your family or friends. You don’t need a house to have a home, you just have to have love. Home is a feeling, not a thing. You know that feeling of peace? That’s the same feeling that comes in a home. You might go from happy to sad but as long as you eventually find peace that’s what a home is. Home is a place to make memories and a place to enjoy. Home is a safe place. Your home might not be around your family, maybe it’s your stuffed animal or your friends. I do not know everything but I do know something, everyone deserves a home. Your home is your secure place, where everyone comforts you and gives you courage. Courage is when you take risks and help everyone to create… A home! A home is courage. You can’t put your feelings into a house, but a home is the combination of all those feelings mixed and put together. When you are in your house you might feel sad but when you are in your home, you will feel like the king/queen of the world. Home is love. Many people have houses but not many people have homes. A home is where you’re safe, loved, and have courage but a house is just a place. That doesn’t mean you don’t need houses but it means you need a home. A home is thankfulness.
