What Home Means To Me

Home is not a place. It's a feeling. What I love the most about my home is who I share it with. There is nothing more important than a good, safe and secure home. Home is a place I grew up. Home is where I was raised and where I played, cried, laughed and learned. I believe that home is more than four walls and a roof above my head. It is the feelings that greet me when I walk through the door. It is the people who wait for me to get home from school. Home for me is experiences, moments of my life that helped me change and learn new things. Any house can be a home. To me, a house is a home that includes the pieces of community, family, memories and laughter. It is where the soul is. My house can be described like most home. A physical structure with a roof, front door, window, parents, siblings and a fluffy pet. Home is walking through the front door on a Friday evening after ballet class and coming home to lovely fresh cooked food. I can smell it from outside of my home.
