The Place I Call Home

I see a beautiful sunrise when I wake up in the morning. I feel happy because I remember home is a place to make you feel happy and at peace. I smell my mom’s delightful homemade chocolate chip cookies. I taste the amazing meals my family makes for me. I hear the sound of the birds chirping outside everyday. Home will always be a place to feel safe and cozy. Home is a place to have fun. Home is a place to feel relaxed and calm. Home is the place to be cuddled up in front of the fireplace at night. Home is the place I was raised my whole life. My family portrait reminds me of all the memories my family and I had over all the years. Home reminds me of the time me and my cat both fell asleep on the couch with soft blankets. Home is a place to keep and share beautiful memories with family.
