My Home

Home is what I think about all day. It’s a warm place, where I sleep and play. When I think of home, it reminds me of my dad’s fried rice. When it’s sizzling on the pan, I smell the savory scent of salt and pepper. I can taste the fluffy rice and a bit of salt. I feel loved and grateful when I have food to eat. My fridge stores food. It’s like it’s eating it and coughing it out when we put the food in and take it out. Home is where my family is. Whenever I get home from school, I pet my cats. I feel the fuzzy fur on my cat. I’m always happy and soothed. When I finish school, I meet my dad in our car and I hug I hear my dad saying a simple “hello”. I think of home as a museum, full of memories. Home was where I grew up. I have a bed to sleep in and a couch to sit on. I’m thankful for everything in my house. It provides me with food, safety and a comfortable place.
