Home

Home may be a small word but small words can have strong meanings. You can wake up and have a roof and walls all around you. But home could also be a small, locked door to keep in all your memories. Home is where you enjoy little things. Like your balcony. When I go out on my balcony the wind makes my hair fly in the sky like birds. Imagine your house is a jar, a jar of memories. Every time you make a new memory it fills your jar a little bit more. But when it gets too full and you can’t fit anymore you move away to a new home. And you start all over again, starting with the memory of moving to that home. Home is where you have your deepest feelings. Home is where you are loved. With the help of Habitat for Humanity, hopefully by the time I am an adult everyone will have a home. Home is my happy place.
