Everybody Should Have a Home

What does home mean to you? When I hear the word home I think of a lot of things. To me home means family, nature, quality time, and laughter. Certainly home is better than every thing but some people don’t even have a special home. Home is family. Family makes me feel protected, loved and cared for. My family is made up of my mom, my dad, my sister, and my dog. Whenever I am with my family I feel at home. Also home does not need to be the building its wherever my family is. My mom and dad are always there for me. To make me feel better and comfort me. When I’m home I feel relaxed. Home is nature. For example it could be mountains. Nature makes me feel at home when I am skating and playing sports. Most importantly, nature makes me of relaxed and calm. I remember when I was walking in nature and I felt at home watching all the animals in the trees and bushes slowly moving in the wind. Home also means Quality time. Quality time with the ones I love makes me feel happy, loved and comforted. Home can be spending time doing fun things with your family. In my family quality time is very important. We show quality time by playing board games and colouring. Playing board games makes me feel happy and I love learning and talking strategy with my dad. Finally, home is also laughter. Laughter makes me feel safe and happy. When I laugh with my family I feel protected, loved, free from worries, and comforted. I especially like when my dad makes all of my family laugh. Sometimes we cannot stop. When we laugh I feel happy and at home. These are my reason way home is the best place.
