What does home mean to you?

What comes to mind when you think of the word home? Sometimes it is hard to describe. To me home can be found in so many different places. For example when I hear the word home I think of nature, family, and adventure nature. Nature is a place where you can hear different sounds and you can be yourself. It’s cool because you don’t need any electronics and can explore places you don’t see every day. It makes me want to go out in nature and build a log cabin, and when its night time you can go outside and start a fire and roast some marshmallows. Behind my house is a forest that I get to explore in with my brother. We play there all the time and it makes me feel calm, peaceful, and free. Home also means family. Home is a word that you need to sort in 4 piles. They are family, kind, love and laughter. I am so lucky to have a family that loves me and makes me feels brave and confident. When I’m around my family I feel laughter of all the jokes my dad and my mom say. My family also helps me. Whenever I’m struggling on something they ask if I need help and are always there to make me feel brave. Home also is love. My parents have a family secret where my dad doesn’t care about anything more than me and my brother. Home also means being in nature and exploring. Exploring is a thing me and my brother do when we are bored. When we explore we get to be free and it’s awesome. Sometimes we get lost in this freedom using our imagination. Exploring makes me feel like I’m connected to nature. This is what home means to me
