What Home is to Me

Home is warmth, like the beautiful sun beaming on my face. Home is love, when I run over to my mom and dad’s room to wake them up and give them a big hug. Home is wellness, a place where I can practice hygiene. Home is a place where we can help each other, a place where I can come downstairs and help my mom make breakfast. Home is a place where I can sleep, like my soft, warm, and safe bed. Home is like a place that I love to return to, like how I come home from school to give my dad a big hug Home is a place where I like to rest, like on Saturday or Sunday when I do not have to wake up for school. What home is, warmth, love, wellness, family, sleep, rest … Home is a place where I can do all those things again.
