Home

What does home mean to me? Home can mean a lot of things to different people. Home can be hard to describe at times as well. To me home means being in nature, my family, having a house. Nature. I am at home in nature. I feel joy, relaxed and peaceful in nature. In nature I go camping, hiking, skiing, climbing, and skating. I feel at home doing all these activities and enjoying the outdoors. My Family. My family is caring, loving and makes me feel like I belong. We go on adventures with each other. Whenever I am with my family, I feel like I am loved and can be myself. My family is also made by nine pets. They are a tortoise, cockatoo, two dogs, four hermit crabs, and one chicken. It is exciting having all these animals in my home and sometimes it feels like a zoo. Being surrounded by all these animals makes me feel good. The house can be busy, but it feels nice to be around family and animals that you love. Having a house. I’ve had many houses in my life. I had one in Rhode Island it had a beautiful backyard. My current house is in Alberta and it also is surrounded by nature. For my third house I will have to move to Utah. We will have to cross the U.S Boarder first, taking three or two cars. Our journey is going to take a couple days to get to our new home. I will miss my friends, but I will get new ones. I will miss my home, but we will make a new one. This is how my life is going to change. I think everybody deserves a home and this is what home means to me.
