A house is a structure with 4 walls, a home is where your family is. Drinking warm hot Chocolate with marshmallows and fresh whipped cream sitting by the fireplace watching a Christmas movie on Christmas eve. Laughter fills the house when you walk in and the feeling of warmth and love. Hugs and Kisses greet you as you come home from a long day of school. You can run around with siblings, play with pets and all the other fun things in a home. In the morning you run downstairs to get first dibs on the fresh bacon, pancakes and waffles my mom just cooked up. You hear the sound of splashes of orange juice filling the cups. At home you are sheltered from danger, cared for by all those in your family and they fill you up with brightness when you are feeling down. Wrapping paper thrown everywhere on Christmas and birthdays and family gathered at the table for Easter, Christmas, and Thanksgiving diner. At home you grow old and make many memories. Summertime splashes in the pool, cold popsicle’s outside by the pool, lemonade, and burgers outside on the patio ready to eat and late nights playing games in the backyard. At home you can be yourself without being judged. At home all your needs and wants are met from food to fun things like toys or electronics. A home is a basic need everyone must have. A home doesn’t have to be a luxurious mansion with a giant pool, it can be as simple as the basic rooms of a house. Let’s build homes for those who can not afford them
