The Meaning of Home

he meaning of home for me can be many things. It can be my family, my mom, dad and sister who are always encouraging me to do my best. Or my guinea pigs Cody and Nibbles that squeak so loud that they wake everybody up in the mornings. My cat, who is sometimes so fussy that my mom must buy three different cans of cat food to see which one she likes. Home can also be my friends when we play together, having so much fun and laughing the entire time. It might be the amazing dinners my mom puts together with interesting tastes and textures, whether they take 15 minutes or an entire day to prepare. Or that I can share my feelings with someone who will listen. It could also be the feeling of coming home from school to my house so I can relax and watch my favourite shows. Or the fact that I have a warm, safe place with a roof over my head. But in the end, I’m grateful that I have all of these wonderful things while other people might not.
