My Home is Love

My home is like a river, water flows but love flows too. My home is like a tree, big and strong just like my love. My home is like a friend, it protects me. My home protects me from the biggest of storms. My home gives me and my family space. My home gives me clean water and electricity. If love were a material, it would be a wall. If hope were a material, it would be a roof. If kindness were a material, it would be all the rooms and floors. I am grateful to have an amazing family, an amazing house, and most importantly an amazing home. What makes a house is concrete, wood, and glass, what makes a home is family and friends. I thank habitat for humanity for building affordable homes and teaching them how to manage these homes. I hope one day everyone will live in peace and everyone will have a home
